Giant Rabbits


	We started out breeding Continental Giant Rabbits, they are the biggest breed of rabbit. They are very very friendly and very inquistive. They grow about four times the size of your average rabbit. It was our original two continentals which got us hooked on rabbit breeding and are the foundation of our rabbit stud. Continentals make brilliant house rabbits as they are naturally so brave and inquisitive and can be trained to do most things, use a litter tray, use a cat flap, jump up on the sofa and watch eastenders - you think it up and with a bit of time and patience your rabbit will do it. They also are great in pet corners etc as they love the attention and have that 'wow' factor, and of course they make great normal pet rabbits so long as you have the time to give them lots of time and love. HAMISH Hamish is the 'big daddy' of all our rabbits. He is a pure bred 'yellow' who is directly related to the first yellows which were imported into the country. Hamish is very mischievous and great fun. He passes all his good looks, charm and confidence onto his babies. Sadly following a leg injury last year Hamish could no longer be used for breeding purposes. He is now neutered and lives with Nelly most of the time - and he is still everyone's favourite out of all our animals! NELLY Nelly is Hamish's wife and a very long suffering one at that. She is a beautiful Opal X Yellow. She is very very sweet natured and the best mother you could possibly ask for. You will often open the hutch door to find all of Nelly's babies sitting on her. New for 2010 we would like to introduce our new steel buck 'Rufus'. Rufus is an excellent example of a Continental Giant. We are really excited about the babies he and Nelly will produce in 2010. *********** Baby Giants born 4th May 2010 ************
